The policy paper “The future of Belarus without Lukashenka and Its Implications for the Stability of the Baltic and Nordic regions” discusses the prospects of democratic transition in Belarus and its implications for the West by addressing three interrelated questions: Under which conditions is democratization in Belarus possible? What are the benefits of democratic Belarus for the Baltic and Nordic region? What can the West do to advance democratic changes in Belarus?
